He will release both GM and GS versions of it 😁 He was first thinking of selling it, but he made up his mind. We're gonna get it for free 😁

I've been wanting it for years too!

OH MAN.... I'm pissin' my pants for it 🤣! 😀 😀 😀

P.S. An old message post of mine -> http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?p=746466

I just "Liked" Lee Jackson's page of Facebook, and will be watching it VERY CLOSELY for the MIDI release! 😀 😀 😀

BTW, on the topic of the "GrabBag" tune:

"COME GET SOME"..... *PAPER*. that is 🤣! Hehe, geek out 🤣!

Awesome! I've been waiting for this 😀

Did you know he created his part of the soundtrack for DN3D (except for the Redbook track and that little .voc intermission snippet) on a RAP-10? He sold his card from back in the day just a few years ago on ebay...

Yeah, I saw that EBay listing (as well as reading about it on the Internet at various sites)... QUITE cool! 😀 BTW, according to Lee's FB page, the Redbook audio track on the DN3D CD was recorded from a Roland SC-88 (Pro?), quite cool indeed... I remember drolling about that synth when ot first hit the market years ago 😀

Hehe, a historical tidbit... my old WB1 is what I composed the Eternal DOOM 1/2/3 soundtrack on <grin> 😀

Hehe, it does indeed sound quite "Adlib-ish" 😀

Ah, so there is a major game MIDI soundtrack that is composed for something else than Sound Canvas 😁 And it's the WB1 too? Awesome.

I am going to record the whole Eternal Doom Soundtrack on my Sound Engine, first thing!

Instead of getting a package over mail, i am going to get the module personally tomorrow.

Sounds great! It will definitely bring back some memories! 😀 BTW, in case you haven't stumbled upon this pack, use the MIDI files in this ZIP mentioned here -> http://www.simpilot.net/~richnagel/#eternal_doom_soundtrack 😀

Heh, a "WB pack" for Eternal Doom would be a great idea... I never played that WAD, so having the music sound as it was intended to would be a nice incentive 🤣 and Wave Blasters are certainly hard to get these days...

On the topic of Lee Jackson's work, I always wondered what he used to create the Shadow Warrior soundtrack. He did have a SC-88 at that time and playing back the shareware MIDIs with that module gives a highly similar result to the Redbook tracks of the full version (compare this to this), but the ingame help file does mention a Kurzweil K2500RS... the question is to what degree that was used.

Although the ED1/2/3 soundtrack was composed on a WB1 (and sounds GREAT with it), it ALSO sounds super with my WeedsGM3 SoundFont and XMPlay, or the BASSMIDI Driver ( http://jasonwilliams400com.startlogic.com/sno … Play/XMPlay.htm ) 😀

Oh, man... you need to hop to it, I think that you're in for a treat! 😀 P.S. -> "Eternal Shell" DOSBox Patch for a patch for the included "Eternal Shell" (EShell) frontend for running it under DOSBox 😀

a waveblaster soundfont would be cool! I also would love for someone to make a soundfont of ES audio drive fm or original creative music system.

to win the game you must defeat coppa!
