I've been searching the net for some days, and can't find a good comparison, what is the main differences between SMC 8216 and SMC 8416. Of course 8416 newer. Of course, 8416 has newer controller IC. Of course new layout. Also, 8416 lacks the possibility of AUI connector (not much waste for me)....

And, that's it? Does is faster (basically no, 10 mbit/s)? Does it use less resource? Does it has some extra feature?
