Sweetness! Always wanted a pentium pro especially a dually. I did manage to get a dual socket 5 system a hundred years ago but the voltage regulators squealed so much I couldn't take it and then it died and went to that big PC scrap yard in heaven.

Occasionally I see mismarked geforce4 4200 for super cheap on the bay got mine for 30 dollars shipped a year ago would be a solid choice for such a system!

My experience is that the brand doesn't really matter that much (I suspect they all came from same one or two factories anyways) but disks produced after 1995 seem to be of ever going downhill quality opposed the ones before 1995. I have a soft spot for the permedia2, not fast but I never had issues with it, good image quality, handled windows decently. I have a permedia3 it has excellent image quality in 2d under windows 98 butweird graphical issues under 3d I guess is driver issues or missing 3d features.

Finally got time to stick the card into my pentium iiie system. It is far less noisy than my audician. But the onboard sound ROM is definitely not as good sounding as my Ra-30. Can't wait to get some ram on this thing and test out some different sound fonts.
