In my case the problem seems to be that the Freedos installer cut the filenames when it unzipped the DJGPP file. DOSLFN is loaded and working fine, as we can see in the left panel of DZ. I'll work on it sometime later, probably during the weekend. Filename Screenshot_2023-03-10_19-06-44.png File …

Copy code to clipboard 1 c++config.h 2 123456789.1 has more than 8 characters in the filename hence why it will fail in DOS. When the compiler and associated .h files were unzipped the names got shortened to 8 chars. No idea how to fix it yet.

I'm in no way an expert in this but, have you tried moving the card to another PCI slot? In theory, it should be given another IRQ.

That batch file does not seem correct. Let's say you have the ISO file in the root of the C: drive, in my example I have FD13BNS.ISO... You need to type: LH SHSUCDHD /F:C:\FD13BNS.ISO SHSUCDX /D:SHSU-CDH /I It will then tell you which is the new drive letter associated with your new virtual CD drive …

I've had old drives not work with 80 wire cables but work perfectly with 40 wire ones.

Later on when 802.11 was ratified in the late 90s Lucent reused the WaveLAN brand for a line of standard 802.11 WiFi hardware which was eventually renamed ORiNOCO. These can also be found with different names. My one is branded Avaya Wireless and works really well with these drivers.
