Hi guys, trying to run Machiavelli The Prince on DOSBox 0.74 (Mac OS X). I have read previously that you need to turn off EMS to run the game, which I do, but I still have problems. The game is very, vey slow and juddery and the longest I can go without a crash is maybe four or five minutes. I keep getting kicked back to the prompt with a "transfer stack overflow error". I assume this is a memory issue of some kind, but I have no idea how to solve it.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Increase cycles, maybe?

And of course if you're using a version you downloaded from somewhere, there's no guarantee the game is complete and functional. If you tried to install the game and experienced problems, see http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=24859 .
