I've tried a certain bidi script in DOSBox and experienced the same problem.

Can you make it official in DOSBox too whether it handles bidi scripts natively or not?

 That's way more than I'd like to have the internal stuff to do, if you need that just use the freedos tools.

 The tool (not tools) is only good for its own texts.

Anyway (assuming that's the case), can you add the statement "no bidi support" to readme.txt's language section?
