Glad you liked it! 😀 Yeah, I always liked "LARS.MOD" as well 😀
BTW, an addendum to my previous post refering to "LARS.MOD":
I don't know of y'all have ever came across this FTP site -> ftp://ftp.modland.com , TONS of Tracker music related downloads, and just about the LARGEST archive of Tracker tunes anywhere on the Internet 😀
The FTP site is WELL organized by composer, program, program OS, etc..., and I found this -> ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/Protracker/SLL/lars.mod . Seems that all of the MOD files in that ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/modules/Protracker/SLL FTP directory are composed by a guy called "SLL".
I downloaded a few of them, and saw comments with the sample names of "S.L.L." and "S.L.L" as well... so, I'm thinking that whoever that "SLL" is, THAT who is composed the original "LARS.MOD" 😀
Hehe, there are even a few of my own meager offerings on that FTP site as well 😀
Also, if you like some more modern Tracker music, ANYTHING by Jussi "Elwood" Salmela is superb! 😀 Surf here -> http://www.elwoodproductions.com , scroll down to "XM releases", and download the 15 XM files... some GREAT stuff there 😀
BTW, another miscellaneous Tracker tune that I've always liked, "Defloration" (circa 1993) by EMax of TRSI ( http://www.trsi.org ) -> http://www.theparty.dk/wiki/Defloration ("DEFLORAT.MOD") 😀
Now... is your Tracker music collection lacking? Fret now more, surf here (Note: CD jewel case pics are attached to this message):
SoundMOD Volume One by Data Express, Inc., 1994

SoundMOD Volume Two by Data Express, Inc., 1995

http://archive.org/download/cdrom-soundmod-vo … dataexpress.iso
Hehe, something that I wrote on Facebook quite some time ago (refering to SoundMOD Vol. 1 above):
Heh... seems that back in early '94 a company called "Data Express, Inc." sold a MOD Tracker format music CD for DOS called "SoundMOD Volume One" (UPC: 781307200019). Directly from one of the readmes on the CD:
BREAKDWN.MOD 94,116 bytes 1-28-93 4TRK:MOD Break It Down!
Yep... one of my old Tracker tune classics from 1993 🤣! 😀 And, being that I uploaded the original file to CompuServe way back when (and had been a member of CompuServe since early 198x?), that is *DEFINITIVE* PROOF* that *I* "invented the Internet" several years BEFORE Al Gore did 🤣!
BTW, you can snag all of my measly (and mostly crap <grin>) Tracker offerings here -> http://www.richnagel.net/#tracker ( http://www.simpilot.net/~richnagel/#tracker ) 😀
LASTLY... (P.S. Copy and paste the ENTIRE URLs below, if the forum software chops off the end of them!)
You know how almost ALL of the older MOD format Tracker tunes that were composed on the Amiga always have those "st#-samplename" sort of sample names for the samples? Those were sample disks that were included with the Amiga Tracker "Ultimate SoundTracker".
Now, surf here -> http://aminet.net/search?query=Sampledisk+for … mposer+Software , and also check the first readme for the first sample disk available for download on that site -> http://aminet.net/mods/inst/st-01.readme :
This Sampledisk is the first one of a big library of sampledisks. Till now this library contains of estimated 120 disks full with samples various contents. The first 5 disks of the ST-xx series were originally taken from the famous Soundtracker by Unknown of DOC. I think, he took them from the first tracker on the Amiga Soundtracker by Karsten Obarski.
Anyways, you can download all of the seperate sample disks from there (and there is QUITE A FEW of them!), or simply download the ENTIRE schmear in one file here -> oscomp.hu/?details/SoundTracker_and_Pro ... Amiga_1305 , actual file download is here -> http://oscomp.hu/dlgame.php?1305 ("ST-01_ST-B6.tar.bz2") .
NOW, Let's get off of our arses, and do some *NEW* old-school Tracking, using some samples from the original "ST-01"! 😀
BTW, if you prefer to Track REALLY old-school -> ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/software/trackers/Amiga or ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/software/trackers/DOS 😀
