I've done some comparing in the past, and certain versions seemed to work better for certain games... (this website lists which games are supported by which versions of dosbox)... unless .73 is some kind of panacea, that incorporates all the attributes of EVERY previous version.

All the old versions were available as little as 4 months ago, so I'm just asking... where the hell else do I find them... if not here ???

Cheers everybody.

There have been a number of people coming to this erroneous conclusion lately. Perhaps the supported games list should only show the version tested with in the details, not the list itself.

So just get rid of the Version column and then when they click on the game they see the list of versions the game was tested under (the same as it is right now when they click on a game).

Sounds good to me.

Maybe a header for entry could be added too. "This is a user-submitted database, A game listed broken is not necessarily so. Try the latest DOSBox version first!".

Perhaps also an entry of "Not tested with latest version of DOSBox." added to any entries not submitted with with the latest.

And also "... but it is very likely to work with the latest version of DOSBox". If the status was "working" with an older version.

I've not read the complete thread, but here's a link
removed...link.
And I'll see if I can get it reported 😀

I've just added it because Wings of Fury was not properly running in 0.72
The game just quits after the title screen, when selected to play.
Did not happen in 0.63 😀

Read this thread. Do not use old versions. If something is not working for you, post what you have tried and report what is broken. It won't get fixed, otherwise. Just because a game was tested with an old version a long time ago does not mean that it does not work with the new version.
