i have the 3,5 disk version from ween the prophecy, but i have trouble to install them to hd. i try dosbox and a startup disk, but the installer says no hdd. but i have access to drive c: at dos prompt. anybody a idea?

Since this is really a DOSBox question, you should have posted in the DOSBox forum. You have to mount both a c: drive and your floppy drive. By the way, this game is supported by ScummVM.
yes, but i need the install files for scumm. and not the compressed from the disk. but i can not get the files , if i cant install the game.
it says always no hdd found. i try real dos mode too, but nothing work

i try my old dos start disk, but it the same, the install.exe tells me i have no hdd. i think , it search a ide hdd not sata .
Just copy all of the contents from the first disk into a folder on your harddrive. Copy all INTRO.$0* files from the other disks into this same folder. Drop INSTALL.EXE onto a shortcut to DOSBox and let it install to "C:\PROPHECY if you have the US version or WEEN if you have the European. In the folder that you created, you will find a subfolder named PROPHECY or WEEN with all needed game files.
sorry dosnt work, i become now no install screen on dosbox, if exit before with CPU:GRP5:illegal call

i use dosbox 0.72 , mount a: to a: and my fat 16 to c:
i try my notebook else, but the same problem.
mayby my first disk a broken, can everbody check this , this is disk 1-5, ru version

File might be broken.
Anyways, use a clean dosbox.conf, mountings like this:
mount a a:\ -t floppy
mount c c:\some\directory
and then test the installer. Post the exact error message if there is any,
and when exactly it happens.
i try this, but i have the same error "CPU:GRP5:illegal call"
Check the first few bytes in a hex editor if they resemble a valid .exe file.
mhh , the install.exe are empty. only 00 00 00 00 00. mayby the file is broken by my diskdrive? i know if i try the first one the disk, i see the install window.
have anybody mayby a correct install.exe file for me?
