Hi all,
I was wondering if the latest version of VDMSound is 2.1.0. I downloaded from Snover's thread in 2003.
Please let me know.

That's the latest. The VDMSound sound code was integrated into DosBox a long time ago. VDMSound has long been abandoned by it's creator.
DosBox is the future.

Yepp, VDMSound is end-of-life. No additional improvements to be made (besides writing a help file and repackaging the installer 😀 ), hit the Windows emulation limit.

Especially since Vista WDDM video drivers blocks access to int10. Only solution there is solvbe or some similar solution to intercept. I've also had some problems with NTVDM in 32bit Windows when trying to install games using some versions of Installshield. The NTVDM process loads but installshield just errors out. I'm going to see if I can pinpoint exactly what versions of installshield it is. NTVDM in Vista definetly looks like it's not as compatible as XP's. 🙁 or mabye that's should be a 😀 ! Yay for DosBox!
