Is there any simple way to use (and boot) from a hard drive image and also use a regularly mounted folder as you normally would. It just seems to me that this would make it easier to load files into the image-based "PC". Or do I have to use a virtual hard drive mount tool (which is more cumbersome).

I've read both of those sections in the DOSBOX manual several times. I've added lines to the AUTOEXEC portion of the DOSBOX CONFIG file to mount a folder on my PC as a drive letter, and lines to IMGMOUNT and boot a Hard Drive Image File. I've loaded DOS and Windows 3.11 into the Image through DOSBOX, and It works fine. But it seems if you boot from an Image file, it ignores any "MOUNT" commands in the AUTOEXEC section.

If anyone could point me in the direction of another resource (or section of this forum) that might have an answer to this issue, I would appreciate it.

I guess my real question is:

Is there any way to apply a regular MOUNT command when booted into a Hard Drive Image file?
