I set up an old Coppermine Dell for WIN98SE to play and study older games but am having trouble getting sound.. i tried VDMS 2.1 version but it wont install saying i have to be using Administrator and there is no such setting on WIN 98SE...

ScummVM gives an error saying MSVCRT dll is missing but it IS in my computer. any ideas?

VDMS was for NT based systems. There was an alpha version that someone had started, but left a lot to be desired. Also, there is no Launchpad for it. Better to just install pre WDM soundcard drivers if you have Win9x.
