Prairie dog 97 for windows runs a lot faster than it should. I thought about using cpu killer but really I don't want to slow down the computer itself, I just want to slow down the program. Moslo is good but it is for dos games and the free version does not work on anything quicker than 700 mhz. Anyone have a possiable solution to my problem.

What game is it?, what system are yoy running?

Can't you "throttle down" the system in the BIOS?

You can try turbo. It does slow down the speed of the cpu but this happens only during the usage of it.When you stop it the CPU has it's normal speed. It is very simple to configure and it does work. You may need to set it to Win 95 compatibility mode just like the game you want to play.

Type of Program: Target Shooting
Support Platform: Win95 & Win 3.x
Company: Diversions Software

minimum requirement: 486 DX33 Processor MS Windows 3.1. 4MB RAM 256 color 640x480 VGA

And if you have the full game it runs fine in dosbox 0.72/W3.x
Not the ripped version, seems to lack some files.
