Hi folks, I came across what I think is a bit rare of a card.

It is labeled as "CT-3210", and I cannot find any info on it except some pictures on an Asian site.

From the looks of it, it would *seem* to be a Phone Blaster card, combining modem and SB16? All the ones I have seen though are slightly different, with a Vibra printed chip and the model being "CT-3120" instead...

Any information on it that anyone knows?

In addition, the card came with a companion card tethered with a connector, and it seems to be the "AWE32 Upgrade card", labeled "CT1920".

Any info on this as well?

Thanks!

Might as well add a picture of the pair, right..?

Its a SB16 with the Sb32 Goldfinch add-on card, essentially the add-on card brings all the extra features of the SB32 to the SB16, its a nice little combination worth keeping. (Not seen a SB16 with a built in modem before but I'm guessing its a OEM job)

Right, it's a type of SB16, just trying to figure out which exactly. Could be OEM for this particular model number (though again, haven't found the info), but SB16/Modem was not OEM, it was retail:

But it's a slightly different one, both in chips and n model number, as these say CT-3120 (and if you search for this one there is info, and even drivers here on Vogons)

Might be a cheaper version of that model for the likes of Dell, they had a thing with Creative back in the day and used their sound and video cards with both Creative and Dell branding.

Did a bit of rabbit holing and by rights with the CT3210 numbering it should be a Vibra16 with Phoneblaster ...the models either side of it are CT3120 and CT3220.( ViBRA16s CT2502 on the main IC)

a little more digging based on the main ICs and the closest retail Creative version is

CT3180 Vibra16s Phone Blaster CT1978-TAP, CT2502-SDQ Joy, Modem, WB

has identical main ICs . .perhaps this card you have is a OEM version of the 3180. CT3220 is also pretty similar but has a better modem by the looks of it.

But as you said .. this model doesn't appear to exist, pretty much nothing on it out there, its very odd.

1996 date codes, so 2 year old 28.8 speed modem just as 33.6 came out. Wonder if Creative offered upgraded firmware. Googling says Rockwell offered one for RC288DPi.

I haven't posted for a long time, but cracked open a used 486 system and this card (CT3210 silk screened near IDE port) was in it. The sticker on this near the "ROM" firmware chip says RCV336ACI, so I'm assuming it is 33.6 firmware on it. The Creative Labs sticker on the back of the card says this is a MODEL No: CT3220, and underneath it says "Phone Blaster 288 FDSP".

Its socketed, so I could probably pull the firmware off it, though why anyone would want to use that part is beyond me.
