I just luckily purchased A sony Vaio pcg-z505HE. It is a 12.1 inch super-slim laptop with a 450mhz p3 cpu, neomagic 256AV graphic chip (weakest part of the laptop retro wise) and a YMF477 sound chip that is supposedly wired up with sb-link for DOS compatibility.

It also comes with the add on port replicator and the external floppy drive and cd-rom drive. I've started hunting piecemeal for drivers for the laptop. Sony doesn't seem to host them anymore even though this laptop still has a support page. Does anybody happen to know where I can find complete sets of drivers for old sony vaio laptops? I've looked around but haven't found much. Thank you in advance for reading this post even if nobody can help with this particular laptop.

You probably mean sound chipset Yamaha YMF-744B, so you can use any YMF-744 VXD drivers, from Vogons drivers as example:

Also some devices could be compatible with my PCG-505V laptop, earlier I uploaded recovery CD to archive.org, but Japanese version:

https://archive.org/details/pcg-505v-recovery-cd

Here some drivers I use with my 505V:
