I've gotten this error message when I tried to open up the mixer program that came with the AWE464's drivers
MIX0001: Auxilliary driver AUXDRV.DRV not found
This message I've gotten recently on my newer installation of DOS on my Am5x86 (When I tried it back in 2012, the file was there because the program opened)
Can anyone help?
AWE64s have issues with AMDs, install the newest drivers found on the vogon drivers site, preferably the "ultimate CD" ISO I made
Second that. Hopefully reinstalling the driver
1) puts the files where the mixer looks for them (SB16\DRV subdir ? )
2) puts the correct environment variables, path and PnP stuff in your autoexec.bat file

Can you link me to that Ultimate CD ISO you meationed?
Here. But read the description if you want to burn it on CD right away :
CD "over burn" is required. Tested compatible with Taiyo Yuden 700MB CD-R. If using other media, use simulation mode to test first!
