Shouldn't K6-2 be with the Pentium? It's still socket 7 (not slot 1) and I feel the architecture of super 7 is still much more similar to older socket 7 then to any slot 1

No 160MHz Am5x86 results? Shocking.

Also, setting the RAM wait states to 0 really REALLY helps Am5x86 performance at the risk of locking up on sysreset so try that too. It's amazing for the speed you can really squeeze out of these old suckers even on the bad motherfuboards

The problem is that alot of PCI/VLB cards don't want to play nice with a 40mhz FSB

I re-tested my p200mmx machine with 1.0C :

CPU: intel pentium 200 mmx
Mainboard: Spacewalker (IIRC) with VIA MVP3 chipset
Amount of RAM: 64MB , EDO
Amount of L2 Cache: 512kb
Video card: Riva 128 PCI 4MB
3dbench score: 133,8

Regarding the files "BIOS". The idea was to tell us if it's "Defaults" or "Tweaked" 😉

Oh it's tweaked, but that only meant tweaking for 0 wait states and less IRQ usage

The cache refers to L1, as the board has no L2 cache or any cache modules "supported" by it! Funny, the lack of it isn't really a significant dent to the performance. To go further would mean getting a cool Stealth 64 like keropi has.

Looking at the 486 list, we got most cpus, but I would like a figure for a DX2-50...

Anyone with a DX2-66 could get this score, simply set the FSB to 25.

DX4 machines should also allow setting the multi to 2 and FSB to 25 resulting in a DX2-50..

That's an excellent result, considering the mobo. I also have a PC-Chips M919 mobo, and found that by tweaking its BIOS settings, you could get the system to perform well. Surprising! 😉 😀

I would awergh push to recheck his utterly slow 486DX2-66 (12.1 Score). There are so many things unknown, that there isn't much information gain.
And it somehow doesn't fit the general performance curve anyway.
So at least there should be some information why especially this system is way off.

The Realtek ISA 512KB SVGA video card is a real painful thing to work with - I've used one myself and it doesn't even work in DirectX either. The only good thing about it is its compact size.
