I am thinking of poking joystick DB15 port to find out how it works. At the moment, I'm just hacking DB15 wire to a microcontroller and looking what I can get from it. Perhaps might come to inventing a converter for modern-ish USB HID controllers (joystick, steering wheel and gamepad) into old DB15 ports, but I promise nothing.
I know of Thrustmaster... but it's digital, works only in Windows and might be a bit too complex to hack.

Are there any non-Windows MS-DOS games with force feedback?

Would you actually need haptic feedback on modern controllers from such USB-to-DB15 contraption?
