In Series 8 Mission A, upon returning back to the Concordia the game just drops out to c prompt with the following message:
The game was run like so: C:\WING2\loadfix wc2.exe
I have tryed playing the mission several times and it still does the same thing 🙁 Anyone experience this?
Hum, that's strange, I played the entire game recently (after the loadfix trick was mentioned 😀 ), and again mission 8 a now, and I never had this kind of problems...
When you get back to the Concordia in this mission, she is under attack from "Grikath" enemy heavy fighters. I guess the data for these is in the ship.v08 file... But I'm pretty sure they also appear earlier in the game.
Check that the file is present in your wing2/gamedat directory, on my install it is a 76k file. You may have a damaged install/cd/floppy
