this game only plays after it is first installed, and any subsequent attempt to run the game (by, in DOSbox, typing
"cd sosgame <enter> go") gives a "Error Program bug". This happens after quitting the game from the main menu.
How do I fix this?

How do we find out? If such a file was created, how do we find out where it is?
look in the sosgame directory.

It seems problems like this can generally be attributed to not mounting the DOSBox directories the same way as they were mounted during installation.
So, just to be sure: are you mounting the directories the same way all the time? If this is a CD game, you may need to have the CD image (or whatever) mounted when you try to run the game.
