Now that my games seem to run in DosBox, I need to purchase a USB Gamepad for my laptop. Can someone recommend a good one for no more that $25.00 that will work in DosBox. I don't want something real complex. I have an old PC Fighter 6 gamepad that I love. It has a gameport connector. I would think that an adapter would not work and probably harder to find. I need a gamepad that is compatible with Vista and Win 7. Also, could you point me to a reparable site. Thanks a lot.

I'd recommend the Xbox 360 pad. Works out-of-the box with Windows drivers, or XBCD custom drivers if you need full functionality (and are prepared to jump through some hops on x64 Win flavours for driver installation). Been using it for emulators, retro gaming and modern-ish games on XP, Vista x64 and Win 7 and never had serious issues.
