I am looking for assistance in getting Tango-PCB 2.30 running.
I have tried DOSBox 0.72 under Windows XP Pro and Mac OSX 10.5 with similar results.

After starting the application (PCB.EXE) the cursor goes to the next line and the screen freezes. I have tried installing Tango using several different video modes (VGA, EGA, etc.) I have passed command line options to select other graphic drivers too. (PCB /G:VGA or PCB /G:SVGA etc.) All get the same result.

I did see one reference to Tango in the forums so I know it is possible to run but I just haven't found the right combination yet.

if needed Tango-PCB is available for download as abandonware...

Charlie.

Did you ever resolve this? I'm running into the exact same problem, and I would love to know if you solved it. I know it's possible because once I got it working a couple of years ago, but then lost the magic incantation....

Best,
Todd

It has to do with pcb not finding the security key on the lpt1. sch will run, but not pcb if it can't detect the key. There is a crack around somewhere if you already have the dongle.
