There seems to be a freezing problem with Wolfenstein 3D. I can't seem to get past the first screen where it detects ram avalible.
I disabled EMS, XMS and the newly supported ram type. Also tried using the different cpu cores as well as changing the cpu cycles lower and higher than the default.
Not a real big deal right now but playing every once in awhile is great.
That would be a bug if somebody can confirm your findings.

Shareware seems to work fine here. I have the registered version.
My registered version works fine (in both 0.65 and CVS) using default settings, as well. Don't know what game-version I have, though..
Sorry, I had bad files. Once I replaced them it loaded up fine. I'm using 1.4 of the registered version.

Hey at least you are headed somewhere while thinking about it. I just sit around on my ass doing the same thing 😅
I too have problems running Wolfenstein 3D, with the Super Upgrades addon pack.
the original game works fine, but when I select a game from the super upgrades pack, it freezes at the startup screen where it shows your ram, sound etc.
The version is 1.4 afaik. Do note, the only way to get it going again (the original game) if I extract the original game files to the same directory, it will run, but I can't select any upgrade packs.
Please help, I think it is a bug in dosbox, which they havn't picked up on yet.
