I've been trying to make Windows 3.1 fully functional so I can run Oregon Trail and other games like it with it. After painfully installing Windows 3.1 and a video and sound driver with dosbox, I ran the game (mounted the cd drive the the windows virtual cd drive [mount d e:\]) and while the intro played fine, when the game should have come up I got this message:
"Application Error
integer divide by 0"
Can anybody help me out? I'm totally stumped.

I tried this too, and I seem to remember the same error. I can't remember if I got it working or not, but one thing to try is installing different versions of Quicktime (Look up oldversion.com--they have some really old ones) and install, then see if the game will run.

On a side note, the game runs perfectly in Wine on Ubuntu the last time I checked. 😀
