I have a general question, regarding mounting disks on virtual drives. For the game Pandora Directive, I have seen two descriptions of how to load this game played in Dosbox with the disks copied to the harddrive. One person described converting the disks to image files and loading them onto virtual drives. Another loaded the contents of each disk into separate folders on the C drive and mounted the folders on virtual drives. Does it make a difference whether you use the actual copied disk in a folder or an image file of a disk to play games off of virtual drives? Is one faster than the other?
