Hmm, my KQ3 copy that I got from Ebay just arrived today. The 5.25" disks work fine, but trying to read the 3.5" ones just produced a General Failure message. I suspect that I don't have the PC 3.5" disks, but the Amiga or Apple IIgs ones. Since the version is not marked on the label, so I have no way to tell what they are.

Also this is the 1987 AGI V3 gold box version, but the disks are from the original AGI V2 gray box release. It's like someone just threw random disks from different KQ3 versions into a V3 box.

Both disks are for PCs only. So other machines might not work.

Please start a new thread if you have problem with King's Quest 3.

This thread is about shakescreen on CGA/Tandy/PCjr modes.
