is it possible to interchange device drivers in the audioDrv and soundDrv lines in the cfg file?

for example.. could i use..

soundDrv = dacblast.drv
audioDrv = genmidi.drv

or won't it work...?

the reason why is because i have music but no voices in Leisure Suit Larry 6 CD.. i'm trying different drivers for the command lines but i can't seem to find a combination that works

No you can't. In the Sierra games, the audio driver is for MIDI (music) and sound driver is for digital sound (sound fx, speech). If you try to switch them, it will probably crash the NTVDM. The version LSL6 that I have on the collector's Series has no speech, just a few sound fx.
