Hello,

I have a problem concerning the serial Interface.
An Old Software get some Data via COM2, unfortunatly when I start the Software I get the following Message in the Status Window:

Serial1: Errors: Framing 0, Parity 0, Overrun RX:0 (IF0:0), TX:1, Break 0

In the DOSBox Conf I added the following line:

serial1=directseriel realport:COM2

The other serials are all disabled.
The same Message occur, if I use dumme instead of the settings above.
Is there anything I have to do in addition ta make this work?
I get the Same Message when I use COM1.

with kind regards

Hi folks

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it seems that my problem is a lot alike.

I have an old test program, for some electronics, that needs DOS to run. The app runs, but keeps getting me framing errors.
I've setup the serial ports, 1200 8O1, IRQs 4-3-11 for COM1-3.
Every time my equipment is shut down, the program pops up, giving me a framing error, as is the stop bit wasn't received or something. I've look through the forum, but can't find a solution.
I've tried both orig DosBox, and MB6.

Anyone has an idea why this is happening?

Regards
