Hey Guys, i wanted to play DOS games in DOSBox with Timidity and Shan's Soundfont. But when i activate Timidity and startup e.g. Monkey Island 1, i get only the standard Adlib sound. Can somebody help me? A Guide or HowTo would be enormous helpful.
Monkey Island 1 only supports MT-32 MIDI (not General MIDI). You also have to activate with a command line switch if I remember correctly.
in ScummVM Monkey Island 1 works with Timidity + Shan's Soundfont. So it should also work with DOSBox. Do i have to edit dosbox.conf to activate it?

but you have to first remap your soundfont to work in mt32 mode

ScummVM emulates MT-32 via GM (I think they define instrument mappings per game).
