Does anyone here know what is the difference between normal and simple sets of "core"? Normal is slower a bit (like P75 vs P90 for my PC). What setting have better game compatibility?

Platform: IBM PC, cpu: Intel Core2. According to docs I saw the only good thing in dynamic mode is speed, not compatibility. As I've understood from the answer "normal mode" is better in compatibility compared to "simple mode". Thanks.

well that comment is pretty old. The compatibility is nowadays different, but not necessary worse than the normal core
