How would I load devices from the old CONFIG.SYS file into the DOSBOX configuration file. The device I am trying to load is setver.exe . An example would be great.

Thanks for the fast answer. I have an old dos accounting program that needs to think it is running in DOS 4.01 . I am trying to get it working on Vista. Under win98 I would edit the setver table entry for "restore.exe" to ver 4.01. I can get everything in the program running under Vista, except for the restore part. Vista doesn't support setver.exe.
Under dosbox I can't seem to get the backup or restore parts to work. Under dos if i didn't have my path set it would do just this, so am thinking that now that I have the correct version set, I need to figure a way to set the path.
Any help would be appreciated.
Accounting programs are not a target of dosbox (besides your report not
even containing the dosbox version or anything of relevance).
set path should work fine in dosbox as it did under dos, if that's what you
are looking for.
