hello, im new to this and very confused. as i understand it when i open DOSBox i have to type C:\dosprog

but pressing this key (\) doesnt do anything i mean it wont type.

but it works ok everywhere else \\\\\\\

sorry if im being stupid.

any help please

Read the readme file that comes with DOSBox.

SEARCH the forum.

Use "/" (without quotes) instead.

in some keyboards here, the "\" character is the key is just right of "left Shift" key....here i have into it the "< >" characters...

and the combination of Shift + "Ñ" (tailored N symbol in spanish languaje) for the ":" character...

Holding down Alt and typing 92 on the keypad should give you a \ if all else fails.
