Do dos games at Good Old Games (gog.com) require using DosBox? I know the installers aren't 9x compatible, but after it's installed on my XP computer, I'd like to be able to play it on my Win 98 machine too.

You should be able to copy it out of the directory once it's installed.
Just make sure to change any configuration files that are directory specific.
If a config file for the game has a directory ihard coded and you put it in a different directory in DOS then you'll need to change it.
Thanks. So it's just a batch file or extra excutable that calls DosBox?
Well the shortcuts call DOSBox which points to the dosbox configuration file which then launches the DOS game.
Some DOS games on GOG use CD images (Which DOSBox mounts internally) so you'll need to burn those to CD (or use a DOS image mounting program)
