now I can switch cd's succesfully with phantasmagoria 2 using this code: mount e "X:\" -t cdrom -ioctl (X being my cddrive) but the movies run really slow, so i'm trying to get it right with the dosbox config file... anyone suggestions for getting the movies to run better?

for me the solution was: mount D "X:\" -t cdrom -ioctl (X is my cdrom drive) see my solved problem with phantasmagoria1 here: Mounting directiories as CD-ROMS now I am going to try phantasmagoria2 (cd switching problem too)

yes you can copy the files into a directory and mount that directory as a cdrom. use this: mount e c:\dir -t cdrom "e" is the cdrom drive, "c" is the harddisc, "dir" is the directory were you copied the cd files into.
