I don't know what the version is, I assume it would be whatever was current at the time of 1994 and 1995, since that was the game's production and release time period. All that did was delay the bug, it took me rapidly shaking the mouse for a good 15 seconds this time before the crash appeared. Here's the report in Riddle. Sounds like the Dos/4GW mouse bug.
