hi http://www.lankhor.net/jeux.php?jeu=32&menu=tele (freeware game) If I set soundblaster to irq7, it crashes, to irq5 it somehow works but the engine sound is fixed (other noises and music are okay). It never worked, in any version (of the game or dosbox).

hi Im aware of the different filters available in dosbox (esp in some cvs builds), unfortunately, those i kinda like don't support 4:3 aspect ratio (rgb filter, scanlines...). Would you consider adding something like "bilinear-plus" (which is in vba and exult for instance) or even better, "overlay …

Hi Qbix I downloaded latest aep compile. What should I change there ? I dont see any parameter regarding refresh rate or so (?) Oh maybe my question wasn't clear enough. What I meant is that some games are too slow or fast TO MY TASTE 😉 So I'm looking for a solution to change gamespeed. thanks

Mmm, I certainly would not like to do this, it would be very tedious. Moreover it's not possible I guess, as most monitors only support 60hz (or more).

hi Some games are too slow, some are too fast. I'm talking about the way the game was meant to be, not emulation speed, which is accurate. Some racing games especially, are too fast to me. Thanks for your help, I didn't know textures required such power. I mean I thought that, as dosbox emulates video cards (say, S3), the fact that this emulated videocard has textures to display or not shouldn't impact performance...

hi While I can play with a nice framerate games like ICR2 or GP2 in svga, they become unplayable as soon as I enable textures (even very partially, like, just road textures). i wonder what could cause this, as it seems to me that the heavy thing is displaying polygons (?). thanks

I have it and it works nicely. Its not too slow, considering what is displayed 😀 (its even almost smooth here)

you have to play without textures to get a good speed Dont know why textures tax emulation speed that much (same with Fatal racing for instance)

but i was talking "axes", i want analog axes, say, map z to y+, why are you talking keyboard keys ? and anyway, again, dosbox doesnt see my z axis (yes, even with "4axis" selected) I must do something wrong 🙁

thanks wd, but the readme doesnt teach me anything (or does it ?) When i try to remap, the mapper doesnt "record" my Z axis depress (it keeps on waiting for input) also, i dont understand why you told me to select 4axis, i dont want a 4axis joystick to be emulated, only 2
