After physically changing the diskette, press CTRL-F4 to inform DOSBox of the change.

So - what's the deal now that 0.73 seems to allow it to install? Edit the first post with a big fat NOT NEEDED SINCE 0.73 ?

I think, if you use the -conf switch when launching DOSBox, you can point to a specific configuration file, and in that config file you can set some securemode or something that will prevent it from changing the configuration further. Not the answer you are looking for though.

Hmmm. I took a look at this game. As far as I can tell, Abuse is one of those games where the source code and resources for the first 4 share-ware levels (except some sound effects) have been put into the public domain by the original developers and publishers: http://web.archive.org/web/ …

DSOBox emulates a PC with DOS installed. So for best results, get games in a format that is as close as possible as to what they originally where.
