Re: Ultima V MIDI Sound in DOSBox

I have succesfully used the DOSBox with Ultima V with midi music patch, both on Windows and Mac versions of DOSbox. I don't remember that anything special that was needed, except: 1) Follow the patch instructions to the letter as already suggested. 2) I recall that I had to separately download a DOS …

Re: Munt Reloaded - Development

Thanks for this amazing product. I just compiled Qt version for Mac, using Mac OSX 10.6.8. If I run mt32emu-qt, everything seem to work, the UI comes up, I can select ROMs and stuff. I was hoping that with lower clock combined with enabling and disabling primary and secondary caches, I could play around all 386 - Pentium era DOS games, even the old speed critical ones. It was …

Happy retro pc owner, almost

I finally got time to put all those collected parts to a single PC to make a great (at least IMO) DOS/Win9x machine. It has * Pentium II 333 MHz underclocked to 200 MHz * 128 megs of RAM * Voodoo2 8 Mb SLI * Geforce MX400 * Roland LAPC-1 * SoundBlaster 16 (CT2230 I recall?) with NEC XR385 …
