I think it can run Xenix 3.x fine or the 2.x versions for 286/386. The 8086 2.x version is a bitch to setup though. The installation of 2.X for 8086 fails in VMware when it checks the harddisk type, it seems to be quite reliant on these old IBM 5160 type controllers i guess.

Whats neat is that it seems to come with a separate serial port as a PCI card if you look closely at the back of the computer. I wonder what the purpose of that is as the board obviously already has a serial port.

Even without excessive benchmarking - Via C3/C7/Transmeta Crusoe are frigging slow compared to Pentiums or AMD processors. However - for DOS or win95 games and appz they are still comparably fast. So if you buy some old thin client for 5 or 10 bucks on ebay you won't win any benchmark competitions …

Either that or simply pick the lower one as it seems to be a newer release. Personally i never heard differences between modern sound cards, but if you can hear extremely well then just try it out. Personally I'd be surprised if you can hear a difference.

Ah an interwave. No idea about gravis drivers, why not try out if ya like to? I always used the original drivers from AMD. Can find them here: http://driverzone.com/drivers/amd/audio/ If you have problems then consider the BIOS update for it.
