Are you trying to run the old Windows version? For Win 7 I heard it's easier to run the Dos version as the windows version isn't really Vista (and better) compatible. Also goto http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1 and get the 0.74 release as it's the latest stable release

Simcity 2000 puzzling exit

Hi Fished my SimCity 200 SE Cd out of storage today, and installed it on dosbox (0.74 vanilla). Every thing works, but when exiting sc2000 it get's to the "Thanx for Playing SimCity screen", just before it drops you into dos, and hangs. Tested the Floppy Disk version and it works. Any Ideas why? …

You might have better luck using imgmount and/or booting MS-DOS within DOSBox first. IMGmount doesn't work with teledisk Images, Just tried and it made DosBox crash. Afaik the only emulators that support teledisk is MESS and PCE. PCE is a difficult to set-up the first time, MESS isn't that …
