Try reinstalling the game. If that doesn't work then try to search for patches for the game and hope one fixes the problem. If still not working then you might have a corrupted video or the disc could be dirty or scratched at the part where the video is and if that's the case then cleaning the disc …

I've been waiting for Arctic Adventure, Pharoh's Tomb and Monuments of Mars to become freeware for a long time. I forget which game has the creators name spelled wrong.

I might not have made it clear enough. I'm running it without dosbox and without sound. I want to set dosbox in away so when I click setup dosbox opens and then when I close the game dosbox closes.

I bought the game. Thanks for the advice. The box is in excellent shape. The cd rom itself is in almost mint condition. I found a copy of Terminal Velocity in it's big box and the game in great shape at a yard sale but I don't know if it's a good game. The copy I found was at a yard sale and I can get it for a dollar. Is the game any good or should I decide not to buy the game because it could be terrible.

While they had a lot of abandonware they also had tons of freeware games on there that were interesting and there were also a few interesting shareware/demo games there. The game descriptions was the best part and that's where it was really good.

I have the Reflexive Entertainment copy of the game so I just need the video codec to get the game going. Pretty odd to not include a file that the game requires.

Prairie dog 97 for windows runs a lot faster than it should. I thought about using cpu killer but really I don't want to slow down the computer itself, I just want to slow down the program. Moslo is good but it is for dos games and the free version does not work on anything quicker than 700 mhz. …
