Thanks a lot, reducing the cycles to 3000 and turning the core to "full" did the trick. Unfortunantly, the application is quite slow now, but at least it works.

I try to get a Neobook for DOS application running under DosBox 0.65 (not Neobook for DOS itself, but a compiled EXE from Neobook). Actually, it works very well. The only thing that doesn´t work are longer sounds. I´m not sure, but i think, Neobook extracts these sound files out of the EXE overhead …

I had the same problem which was caused by unisci messing my resource.aud up. Use the resource.aud from the CDs (they are identical anyway).

I got it to work with my own .cue sheet now! It just does work with external .ogg files. Probably, because i only have the vorbis library dll in the dosbox directory... Use the right cycles and frameskip settings to get the best speed. these depend on your system: I use cycles 10000 and frameskip 1 on a AMD 2400+ with Win98SE. At it runs just smooth and perfect! To the second poster: Riddle works great for me - not any problem.

well, i'm not a programmer, so i can't make much out of these routines 😉 - so i guess, at the moment, there is no way around that Ü.Ö.Ä - issue? Too bad, becuase all of the games work fine - as long as they don't require that certain files. 🙁

There aren't much things to change: There is an INSTALL.EXE (Setup-Program) and the starting exe program. I chose Soundblaster (standard settings like in DosBox, 220/7/1, but also tried it with IRQ 5) and also tried Adlib: Always the same: Game crashes.
