I tried editing that file, but when I played the game, all I could here was some introductory music, but had a black screen. What else should I do?

I used the same dosbox.conf file for game setup except that 1) change "mount c c:\Harvest" to "mount c c:" and 2) I entered the command "install" instead of "harvest". Well, I figured it out. I just needed to change the setting fullscreen=true to fullscreen=false in the dosbox.conf file and everything worked beautifully. Very groovy, baby! 😁

I am curious as to what was wrong with the "flaky" installer and how it was fixed. Are you referring to the installer that comes with the game Harverster or something else?

What if you are the Windows version on Windows 98 and you want to swap the disk on a virtual drive? Can you load multiple virtual drives? If so, how do you switch between them? Thanks.
