The problem is caused by the COM ports being disabled from BIOS. It will go away if you enable them. At least it did for me.

I'm having the same weird problem with files not being found in Syndicate. Actually, the game works but I can't get the intro movie to work (intro.exe). The files are there (in a data subdirectory). I've tried a version from the internet and from a CD I own. I won't create a thread since it's not …

Time Commando would be SLOW. For a DOS game it's relatively new. Maybe it'll be possible to run it in the future.

Yeah, DOSbox is indeed a beautiful piece of work. I'm enjoying playing Syndicate again. But DON'T get rid of that old machine. I wish I had something like that 😜

What is it with Ultima games and timing problems? I can't play Ultima 6 with midi music because of this... Notes keep ringing. Ah well, the Adlib music is actually pretty good.
