I do have the same thoughts with ExoDOS for example. The boxed version is officially sold on Etsy. How can this be legal? Thousands of games on a 2TB HDD.

Look for R.Loews Trim. It should include a TRIMCHK.EXE that checks for Trim support of the drive.

This step-by-step confirmation also works in DOS 7.10. First config.sys is processed and afterwards you will be asked if autoexec.bat should be processed.

Alright, I indeed messed up "digital" sound effects with digital CD-Audio. But then I know this is not a problem of my individual card and leave it with analogue CD-Audio connection.

@Joseph_Joestar I'm having the same problem with MK8330 sound card. Using SPDIF_IN for digital CD-Audio sounds terrible. Kind of too loud/distorted. I have to use analogue CD-Audio and always wondered why digital CD-Audio is not working with that card. So maybe it's indeed a CMI8330 issue.
