Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

I found the issue for real this time!. Sierra games in particular like to install a game in a subfolder (BC, KQ1, ZELIARD, etc.) and place a batch file with the same name (BC.BAT, KQ1.BAT, ZELIARD.BAT) alongside that folder. When the game folder and a file with the same name exist alongside one …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

I used the beta version you sent me in a PM and tried to open the game folder of several profiles with the following results. Here is the debug output of profiles that open fine: Determining canonical game dir: J:\DOSBoxGameLauncher\dosroot\Beast Within, The - A Gabriel Knight Mystery\data\SIERRA …

Re: Just purchased a Tandy 1000SX. Need some advice on upgrades I have already purchased and any other recommended upgr

Looks like this is only an issue with the TX and HX. SX uses standard molex connectors for drive power. Just purchased a Tandy 1000SX. Need some advice on upgrades I have already purchased and any other recommended upgrades

I've been looking to pick one of these up for a while now. I finally found a Tandy 1000SX on eBay in very good condition with very little yellowing. Notice the executable WILLY.BAT is one folder level in from the mount point. mount C "Adventures of Willy Beamish, The\ …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

Thanks for the quick response. I'll keep looking to try to find what is common about the profiles that won't let me open the game folder and let you know if I figure it out. I notice when this feature works, DBGL drills in further into the folder of the main executable and doesn't just open the root …

Re: DOSBox Game Launcher (DOSBox Frontend)

I just started using DBGL to manage my game library. It is an excellent application, but I have run into a few issues. 1. Right clicking on many of my games and choosing Open game folder causes a window to briefly pop up and then close. I haven't been able to determine why the game folder for some …
