Re: I think i broke my tualatin motherboard soldering new capacitors... does this have a solution?

Maybe there is just a broken/bad connection on one of the solder joints of a cap. You could test for continuity on the legs of the capacitors. If they are in parallell as I guess many are, the + and - should all connect to each other for instance. You should get a continuos beeping sound when …

Re: I think i broke my tualatin motherboard soldering new capacitors... does this have a solution?

I don't think it's dead. Should be fixable. I would double check if all caps are correctly oriented. Also poke around with a multimeter and see that you don't have a short or bad continuity. Correct me if I'm wrong but often caps are sitting in parallell so it would perhaps work (kinda) with only …

I found this info: The original version of the game uses type-from-the-manual copy protection (which can be bypassed by renaming the desired table to INTRO.PRG). You wont be able to choose the table until you rename it each time and it will autolaunch. So not ideal but maybe a temp work-around to …

Like the sliding rope thing, its only used like 5 times in the game and introduced very late. The first level has one 😁 Ah then I forgot! :-) Its almost however that the game was made by different people and put together later. Some mechanics are over used in some levels. Its a little strange. …

Finished Tomb Raider II (unfinished business). It was ok with some fun parts. It is pretty uneven. Here is my retro review. True to my memory, it was very action oriented in comparison to the first one. Some sections were pretty tough but game was kind of a breeze tbh. Not too many hard parts. Got …
