Hi, I saw someone mentioning a version 4.4 I don't see a 4.4 for the 3112 here (OP's cards was a 3152 btw) https://www.latticesemi.com/Support/ASSPSoftwareArchive Thank you for sharing. I guess Sil 3112 and 3112A are the same right? I guess they are. I have updated to the latest version 4.2.83

I also did an additional test with a 200 Mhz pentium Overdrive. The bios didn't give any error messages, but also didn't report the clockspeed. Instead it just said Pentium ODP. So if you want a 200Mhz error free boot process (and also extra cpu power + MMX instructions) you might consider this cpu …

Ok, that looks like it did it. I found the latest 3112a BIOS, 4.4.02 off of the silicon image site, along with the latest dos flash updater. Flashed, rebooted, and BAM, it picks up the drive on POST. Now I just need to figure out how to partition this thing with Mau's super fdisk steps and I should …

Bought in amazon a cosmetic product, Oxidizing Cream level 40, and works great to perform some whitening of plastics. After a few hours exposed to sunlight the case now looks much better, the yellow areas are now white.

And we do have a project, nothing too exciting, its just a budget build. I bought MSI motherboard and Ryzen 5 4500 with 16gb. Its a work in progress, waiting for upgrades... The SFX PSU with an adapter plate provide good clearance for the CPU fan.

I think it had a Pentium MMX due to the sticker in the case. The case points to model 2137-E30

Found this Aptiva case online without internal hardware, just the original CD-ROM. Had to buy it. Still thinking what to do with it. Might go for a sleeper build.

On the second machine that is working I tried to replace the Celeron CPU with a spare P3 866 but the board only takes 650MHz. I guess it still a good upgrade. Also upgraded to a Pioneer DVD drive. But the bios is very disappointing, only detects each HD with a maximum of 20Gb aldo they are 40gb HDs. …

It seems the unit is faulty. The second computer works fine. Comes with diferente CD-Rom modelo and smaller pair of HD with 20gb each. It has a PhoenixBIOS with a boot screen from Fujifilm. Comes with Windows 2000 installed, 392Mb RAM, and a Celeron 566.

This interface in the back is connected into the small Power Button board on the front. Maybe its expected something to be connected to allow power on the motherboard?

Thanks you for the feedback. It comes with a CD mentioning Frontier 330. Also notice that front case only has two power wires directly to the Power Supply, so makes sense to be for battery.

Tried to revive with adapting a CR2 battery. Also tried to replace the GPU but still no luck. The HD is from 2007 so is not that old machines than I expected.
