Like the Pro Eizo Coloredge IPS panels from the 2010s that have turned pink? Or the HP/Dell Dreamcolor RGB backlit panels that go green? For some reason dropping a 1400 Tualatin down to 66Mhz FSB - @700MHz did not alleviate my issue on the 815e platform. (Multiplier is locked) Maybe it will work for you If not switch to a PII/lower PIII + 440BX combo should def work

Might be the fact the tube itself can hold an astronomical amount of voltage, but that would only the case if the CRT has been powered on recently, same for the capacitor that powers the gun. If the CRT has been sitting around for god knows how long un-powered then it should have no dangerous …

I have 5 Bigfoot TS (Third Gen) 12 and 19GB whoppers. They are awesome and were the largest capacity drive (19.2 GB) on release. All work fine despite flying overseas. Common in Compaqs. The one shown above is the first gen which did have more issues. Maybe it's because TS models are Made in Japan …

I used to have this exact model back in 2000. After a few years it developed too bright image even on 0% brightness it was too bright. I eventually sold it off in 2006. So check this out.
