I wouldn't be doing any burning in Win98 unless really necessary. Much better off using a more modern and stable machine. Other then that agree with the above, no need to geta anything special and analogue audio cable is desirable if using for your games as well. I have done a few image to cd …

Yes, the turtle beach santa cruz was one of them. Based on the cs5630-cm crystal chipset. I'd imagine, some of the hercules cards could possibly do that as well (similar chipset) I don't know how the santa cruz does hardware mp3 mind. I've yet to work it out on mine.

In my opinion USB audio is actually awesome. No need to install drivers which might be unstable or not available for your OS. DAC external to the PC's case, so less noise. Sure there's no control panel where I can choose to make everything sound like I'm in a bathroom, but I can live without that. …

agreed Gerry, it doesn't look too bad does it? certainly keeping that badge. I wouldn't mind some genuine badges for windows 98, ATI, Pentium 2. I'd get an A3d badge if I get a vortex and a 3dfx one when I get a voodoo2 in it
